The images in this section are to represent my painting abilities only, assume little or non of the sculpting work is mine,

George Washington as Cincinnatus

The files for this bust of George Washington as Cincinnatus by Massimiliano Ravenna (sculpted around 1819) can be found on the Smithsonian website. I printed at home on an FDM printer then painted it the same way I would hobby figures.

Hohenzollern Redoubt During the Battle of Loos
WWI trench model in 1:48 scale

As the final project for an illustration class at Georgia State University, we were asked to illustrate a passage from a book. I chose the memoir of a British officer at the 1915 Battle of Loos. I was able to find somewhat contemporary aerial photography, archaeological dig reports, and even trench maps from both sides to inform my design. The red rectangles on the maps represent the roughly 96 foot by 192 section of Hollenzollern Redoubt I have represented in this 1:48 scale (2 foot by 4 foot) sculpture. The names on the street signs are taken from German trench maps and a number of historically accurate construction techniques are represented on the trench walls.
